It’s OK, ArGee.
We all have days like that, so you’re in good company. Just hang in there, and remember that we’re here whenever you need to come up for air!
:o])
I hope you have a good night. I hope I have a good night, too!
I’m having a strange night, but it is what it is.
I’ll say a little prayer for a good night for you, and if you don’t get this before you go to bed, I’ll ask about your night in the morning.
Sleep well!
I want a marmalade squee!
Good morning.
The light in my kitchen is wonky again and will only flicker when I flip the switch. Time for me to leave!
Unnngh. The sun will come up eventually ...
Yes, and soon, say, within 90 minutes. I’ll give Chuck a nudge because I sorta want him handy when the company comes, in case things go sideways. I was going to finish up in the kitchen today, too. At least, that was yesterday’s Plan.
Well, at least I’m here in the morning this un-Friday.
Happy Humph Day!
Happy un-Friday to you!
I went to Walmart, but I have to go back, because the pants I bought don’t fit.
Happy un-Friday to both of you! It’s always good to see you when the sun is on this side of the zenith. ;o]
I was going to go to Walmart, but I’m afraid if I do, I won’t get after the paperwork. But if I don’t, I’ll have to go tomorrow. Maybe I’ll go before I head for the library. Although I don’t like shopping so late in the day, I have been known to do it. I used to do it for Charlie fairly often.
Still, Unngh.
I called the office phone and left a message for Chuck, something I haven’t done since I was in Henderson, but I didn’t want to miss him today.
Back from second Walmart trip. Next I will start some cooking.
While you’re doing that, I’m doing some filing, shredding, trashing and sorting. It’s not as easy as it sounds. When I move, I have to figure out a better set up for the desk area so I can file when the bills are paid and not wait until I’m overwhelmed.
What are you cooking today? Is it tasty?
Pretty accurate.
Monkey, you forgot the whole Pecos/McLeod which is McLeod for a short distance, Pecos and then becomes St. Rose Pkwy!
What do y’all think of the huge screen on the new Resorts World? One can see it from all over the valley!
Las Vegas is definitely a unique place:)
Thanks! I didn’t write the original, but you’re right: when I added Alta/Stewart, I should have done the Pecos/McLeod/St Rose as well. I only know about all those because I worked for the bus system when they started up the “grid” system of routes in 1992.
I haven’t actually lived IN Vegas for quite a few years, having moved to Henderson when I was forcibly retired. I stayed out of the city as much as possible, only going in for the occasional medical appointment.
Where I lived in Henderson gave me a perfect view of the fireworks on New Year’s Eve!
(And it’s ‘Face to my FRiends! ;o])..)
(Great statement on your home page, BTW! I have to revise mine to reflect some changes.)
*tagline*
The packet from AAA came this morning, along with a card from NC. The packet is interesting in that it contains “tour books.” Nice, but I want to get to AR asap, not take the scenic route. They also included three maps, which I love because roads and other squiggly lines.
I got a bunch of filing done and a few minor things that will help in the long run, but not the packing I wanted to do.
Chuck has been in the office since around 0800 or so, but I haven’t heard a word from him. I’ve been over there twice and both times his door has been shut. Which is OK. But I can’t pack in the dark.
Did you get something from Lego?
I did, but I haven’t opened it yet. I’m waiting to reward myself for something!
You can read the tour books just for entertainment.
