Cancer-stricken talk radio legend Rush Limbaugh provided listeners a somber update on his condition Monday after recent scans showed “some progression of cancer,” which he said is “not dramatic” but still a step in the wrong direction. “It’s tough to realize that the days where I do not think I’m under a death sentence are over,” Limbaugh continued. “Now, we all are, is the point. We all know that we’re going to die at some point, but when you have a terminal disease diagnosis that has a time frame to it, then that puts a different psychological and even physical awareness to it.”

Rush has been such a blessing to me over the years with his fearless defense of the truth and politically incorrect humor.

I can’t imagine a world without him and it brings me to tears to think about it.

Me too!! GOD BLESS YOU RUSH!!!!

A powerful segment of his show when he mentioned his personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Wow. We have been grateful to have him.

He is a good man!

I can’t view Mr. Limbaugh’s audiovisual at the Foxnews.com link provided, however, I have to take issue with wording in the article that I won’t repeat here; it seems to imply that Limbaugh is taking anything but steps in the proper direction to keep himself healthy.

I look forward to reading his first two books.

If nothing else, Rush taught me that learning enough to have a valid counterpoint is necessary if we are to survive the politician-dominated era of government. There was nothing else available at that time that was taking what I saw on the news and subjecting it to evaluation and criticism.

I saw Rush first on television taking on President Clinton in 1996 (wonder why). I used to be overweight, and it let me know that I could aim for success without focusing on changing my appearance to be thin and fit in. It was also an incredible vote of confidence in the demographics of this television market.

My father passed away years ago. He used to listen to the Howard Stern program, and then I let him know about Rush Limbaugh’s radio show. What I can tell you is that after Dad’s death, the first thing I found sitting in his trashcan was one of Howard Stern’s books (wonder which).

You should know that you’ll still be here somehow. It’s usually because of those of us who can’t or won’t forget.

Rush, America’s Truth Detector is part of many of our families. Will never forget him and Mr Buckley, who Rush idolized.

If I knew how to get in touch with Rush I would strongly suggest that he look into Proton Beam Therapy at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Southern California.
