Cancer-stricken talk radio legend Rush Limbaugh provided listeners a somber update on his condition Monday after recent scans showed some progression of cancer, which he said is not dramatic but still a step in the wrong direction. Its tough to realize that the days where I do not think Im under a death sentence are over, Limbaugh continued. Now, we all are, is the point. We all know that were going to die at some point, but when you have a terminal disease diagnosis that has a time frame to it, then that puts a different psychological and even physical awareness to it.

This man will be sorely missed. There is no one quite like him.
Yes he is!

Each and every day that we get with him is a precious gift. Talent truly on loan from God and sooner or later we are all called home.
He’s a relative, a dear friend, and a mentor. So many of the things that have happened in my life have happened with him in my ear and my car.
I’m really at a loss for words about all of this. May God Bless him while always ensuring the sun is on his face and the wind is at his back.
Rush had a 15 minute segment on it, said he had to go to second base after trying to steel 3rd. Rush did not sound so down about it. These stories are not capturing the segment. We have faith and so does Rush. Nothing to worry about. Keep praying and God willing Rush will be on air November 4th to help us all celebrate Trumps well earned election day victory. He’ll be comforted to know that the country he fought to defend will remain free. Well done Rush!
Life is an everlasting journey... Have Faith and confidence in the Lord and continue the journey.. :)

A powerful segment of his show when he mentioned his personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Wow. We have been grateful to have him.
Rush has been such a blessing to me over the years with his fearless defense of the truth and politically incorrect humor.
I can’t imagine a world without him and it brings me to tears to think about it.
From what Rush said in his health update yesterday, it was obvious, to me at least, that he knew he was “under a death sentence” since he was first diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. He decided to ‘stand up’ and medically fight it and NOT mentally give up on himself. As of yesterday, he is still going to fight and not withdraw and give up.
His most significant line to me was that he had not expected to live to October 1st, let alone until Oct 19th. I don’t expect Rush to give up and that they’ll end up “taking his cold dead hands from the Golden EIB Microphone” to paraphrase Charleton Heston.
I just lost a co-worker and friend to cancer. He had fought it and won the first time, but it came back 18 months ago, after 6 years of remission and he lost the fight on Saturday. At no time did he give up, he even managed to work from home and hospital via his computer several hours a day.
You are correct. I said the same thing on another thread. Everyone is ready to bury the guy.
Started listening to Rush during the 1992 campaign. He kept me sane when that SOB draft dodger won the election.
Just love and respect him so much, he will be very sorely missed.

Mr. Limbaugh you did good. Sign off and try to enjoy the time left to you. Thank you for carrying the torch as long as you did. You’ve made a positive contribution and I wish you peace and comfort. God bless.

Me too and I thought the same as you... I really disliked that first black President!
