I have had contact with one woman in her 50s whose construction-worker husband caught if from a symptomatic co-worker who was questioned if his symptoms might be covid and he insisted he did not need to be tested. They traveled to a work site for over an hour in the same vehicle and both were wearing masks. Two of her 20-something children also tested positive, but she and one daughter did not. Her husband is overweight and diabetic so I was very worried. Fortunately he had fever for 2 days and felt sick and was only treated for symptoms.

Another friend's 30-something has a daughter with a same-age male friend who caught it in march while living in NYC and he was hospitalized and critical for awhile but survived.

A neighbor's brother who traveled to nyc to work there in feb and early march contracted it (I think he lives in chicago and was diagnosed there). He is black, which may be a risk factor? She said he was treated with hydroxichloroquine and a drug she could not remember except that it started with an R (was remdesivir available that early?) and he recovered. She almost whispered hydroxi (very solidly democrat, so seemed skeptical about him gettinh HCQ but said "it worked" 🤷‍♀️)

That's it. We are 5 minutes outside DC limits.

I was really sick between Christmas am New Years but wasn’t tested for covid because they didn’t think it was in the US at the time. I’m pretty sure I had it them though. I later tested positive in mid May but had no symptoms at all.

I work in a nursing home so I know about 15-20 residents and several staff that had it. About 5 residents and 1 staff had symptoms and 2 of the residents died. The rest are fine now, including one lady that is 100 years old.

I also know one person outside of work that had it bad and was on a ventilator for 3 weeks. He’s since recovered. His live in girl friend never got it.

I’m the same way. About six states, well over 100 restaurant meals, a few hotels, ran a youth summer camp for 150 people, taught classes, shook hands, multiple crowds up to 50,000.

I probably wear a mask about an hour a week. 45 minutes is at church where it’s forced.

The rest of the time it’s in my pocket with money, dirty hands and other lint.

No COVID.

I and my family got the Chicom Cooties. It was very mild. My wife finally got a negative Saturday. I'm still positive, but haven't had any symptoms since October 1.

This plandemic is not something we for which we should close our country down. If there's serious cases, treat them at the hospital. For the 96% who experienced mild to moderate symptoms, treat them (as soon as possible, preferably with Hydroxychlorquine and zinc).

I also do not wear a mask. I also do not know anyone who has contracted Covid.

Wow, what a sad story and a needless tragedy. So sorry to hear that.

You can usually get HCQ below (not guaranteed), but they don't give you a lot, so I take Quercetin and zinc and vitamins. Quercetin may work similar to the HCQ and it is non prescription.
I'll take the HCQ if I get it.

Well...I figure I have not had it...I gave blood 5 weeks ago, and they tested for it...I am sure I would have been notified.

Wire and I are essential workers, in early March she caught what we thought was a cold that was bad enough that she stayed home for 3 days. I felt sick for two hours with a mild fever. Tbree days after returning to work she noticed her sense of taste and smell along with appetite was way off. Over the next month she lost ten pounds due to food not tasting good but had no other symptoms.

So hindsight being 20 20, we both had covid.

I have not had a cold or flu for a decade or more till my two hour ick.

No, I have not. I am extremely careful about being near anyone with anything. I have been in and out of the hospital since this all started. I have had 8 tests, all negative. They don’t admit you until you have had a clear test. I think we all had it after a trip to Florida in February. No one on that trip had anything more than a cold or regular flu. The trips to the ER is from liver failure. Under control with meds.

Pretty sure I had it in February. 7 family members have had it.
Know one person personally who died from it.
I wear a mask when inside a store.

It’s extremely contagious. It’s real.
But we can’t let it shut down our economy or pay people to stay home.
Great treatments now like Trump had that we didn’t have in March.
As Trump said don’t be paralyzed in fear, but also be careful and prudent.

Did you get a negative test or just quarantine for a few weeks after the positive test?

I, my wife, two daughters, three grandchildren all had symptoms of what we thought of as a touch of fl back in the first week in March. Wife as the only one who got actually sick. She had some pneumonia that her doctor gave her albuterol and an antibiotic to check against opportunistic bacteria. She was good in three days. Since then SIL and wife have tested positive for antibodies so I assume we all had it then. For me it was a lethargic day that included two hours of annoying cough and a low grade temperature for a few hours.

Okay, since you asked. My 99-year-old Mother tested positive while her nursing home was locked down. She comes out of isolation tomorrow. She never had any symptoms despite having unrelated heart issues and a few strokes a few years ago. Two employees who tested positive have returned to work.

I live in a small county in middle America and eight people have died here. Most were elderly, but two were 70 and 73. I know one man recovering who is 72 and I know one man in his 40’s who is struggling in the hospital with his breathing.

This is a very strange virus.

Yes, Quercetin has the exact same zinc packing effect as HCQ but is an over the counter drug.

2 of my coworkers are out right now after testing positive. They reported that they feel like they have the flu. My cousin, early 60s, was hospitalized after testing positive. I believe I may have had the Coronas in late January. Jokingly described it as the plague. Bad enough that I reviewed my emergency contacts/plan with my significant other.

Two couples in our car cruise group got it but symptoms were similar to flu-like. Lasted about 4 days to about 10 days for the four of them.

Moved into a new condo about a month ago. Neighbor’s wife died from complications from it about a day later. She was on oxygen 24/7 and was not in good shape. I actually never met her. Her husband had mild symptoms and is fine now.

Now a couple where I worked with the wife (but am friends with both) contracted it. I was very worried for her since she had breathing issues. She did alright but instead HE got very bad. Was on ventilator for a week or more. Just took it out. He still is positive. Very very weak and still in hospital, of course. Today she texted he can barely move his hands and feet. Won’t even wear his glasses or teeth. Mostly sleeps all day. Supposed to be evaluated by PT team tomorrow. So very very serious. Life threatening. He’s probably mid 70’s. Quite heavy but seemed quite vital otherwise. Hunting, fishing gardening quite extensively. Like I said, I was more concerned about her... Much praying all around is probably why he’s still alive.

Did you ask them for a prophylactic supply, or a treatment supply?

Also....are you taking any HCQ (say 1/week), along with the Quercetin?

Thanks.

I think much of this county had it in February - early March unidentified by doctors which would explain why the new local uptick seems to involve out-of-towners who weren’t here then. There may have been some deaths back then but they were not ascribed to the virus but to whatever else was going on with those patients.
