Four days ago, the New York Post published a bombshell report raising serious new questions about presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter's relationship with Ukranian energy company Burisma.
The story, which made startling and apparently damning reading was based on a cache of emails and photos allegedly retrieved from Hunter Biden's laptop that he had left at a Delaware computer store.
I have no idea if the report is entirely true, partly true, or completely untrue.
But with my old newspaper editor hat on, I do know that the response from Joe Biden so far has done nothing to make me think it's false.
Crucially, there has been no denial of the fact that these emails are genuine.
And if they are, then they raise important questions.
The potentially most explosive part of the story is a 2015 email supposedly sent by a top Burisma adviser, Vadym Pozharskyi, thanking Hunter for giving him the chance to meet his dad Joe while he was Vice-President.
'Dear Hunter,' the alleged email reads, 'thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It's realty [sic] an honor and pleasure.'
This is significant because Joe Biden has always vehemently denied ever even speaking to his son about 'his overseas business dealings.'
In another email to Hunter Biden sent by a business consultant in 2017, reference is made to 'the big guy' who would receive 10% of equity from a deal with a Chinese equity firm.

I got flamed yesterday for saying that the drip drip of information is much too slow. So today’s drip is Piers Morgan giving his opinion? Today’s drip is an email by a conservative writer named Pobosiec? It’s a cryptic message about ketchup?
The email today is billed as the first of 26K.. c’mon man. Give us something.
Of course it all amounts to lying, but very hard to detect the lie that you never heard ... remains in the 'unknown unknowns' for those who don't have time to dig, i.e. most voters.
The deals are nothing. It’s the laptop or what was on his.

My guess is he'll have to step in front of a camera or a friendly reporter beforehand to answer some questions about family corruption.
Biden graft is certainly a crucial probability that should be answered immediately . . . before the election.
Even more important is to learn how compromised individuals are that are in public positions in the Federal government . . .on BOTH sides of the aisle, in our bureaucracy and in our courts. The federal government needs a house cleaning from top to bottom.

To summarize—for what is probably the _first_ _time_ _ever_ in US history, the Director of National Intelligence called out the Democrats and the mass media for blatant lying about national intelligence.
There were be more details released—but the Democrats and the mass media to tell “Russia, Russia, Russia” lies because they panicked.
No specific detail will be a bigger story than _this_.
With 50% of the population that is a good bet.
The other 50% not so much.
Have I missed something? Are more emails or picture that compromise Joe Biden on Free Republic? I saw a high Biden with a crack pipe and one with a cigarette. I’ve seen one email mentioning “the big guy”. The election is now 2 weeks away. Time really matters.
