Fake as anything.

Remember when Greenpeace messed with the lines?

The cat (Felis catus) is a domestic species of small carnivorous mammal. It is the only domesticated species in the family Felidae and is often referred to as the domestic cat to distinguish it from the wild members of the family. A cat can either be a house cat, a farm cat or a feral cat; the latter ranges freely and avoids human contact.

Cats were first domesticated in the Near East around 7500 BC. It was long thought that cat domestication was initiated in ancient Egypt, as since around 3100 BC veneration was given to cats in ancient Egypt. The earliest house cat remains with humans was found dated to 9,600 years ago on the island of Cyprus. Since cats are not native to Cyprus, they must have been brought over by early human seafarers.

Since cats evolved in the Middle East, they would not have been in the Americas until after Columbus’s voyage in 1492.

So veracity of this Nascar drawing?

Denied.

You don’t even need to be in an airplane to make that out and nobody ever noticed it before?

There are cats in S. America from jaguar and puma to 6 lb kodkod.

Many Nazca drawings are of wild animals not domestic.

That said, I drew cats just like this as a small child and it doesn’t look authentic to me at all. Maybe a very poor restoration?
