Well, the pay off was set on the calendar. It all couldn’t have come to fruition and happen before Re-election and so Barr throwing us a couple of time bones may have been one ride too many for us, at the carnival, but must have served a higher purpose that we can’t compute. Silly us. We kinda believed him. He worried the Left, presumably, the time machine blew passed and let down off the Right. Somebody has a sense of humor, I bet. Barr’s reputation has taken some hits, and we Barr fans took some egg on our face on the Durham business, if we were among those who believed him and said so.
We’ve learned it isn’t happening before a second Trump term, which at the 30,000 feet level makes sense. Even that may take four years to climb to the top, given the scope of corruption is international.
I dunno. I think things like the Peace Deal were being calibrated and calculated and adjusted every step of the way with proposed dates that, when they got there, they adjusted because they needed more time. Peace Deals have so many moving parts I can see why they couldn’t peg the day and I think some of this is moves/counter moves too.
Possibly the same with Barr (e.g., propose it and see how the DS reacts, we should probably release on day X, wait...new info and some complications - we should wait until day Y). As I said, I dunno but I never did “have it all”. :)

The tortuous wait continues...
President Trump always says if you protect the downside the upside will take care of itself. He’s not going to use any more than he needs to get the second term locked in. There’s always more if needed. He’ll have more flexibility after the election.
