After Olivia de Havilland died in July, and Rhonda Fleming, I'm not sure any from that era are still around.

I never even realized it was her in Spellbound. She was in for less than two minutes as a misandrist patient.
That movie didn't have much room for any female characters besides Ingrid Bergman's.

Jane Withers still alive, last I checked. Child star in the 1930s-1940s. In top ten of box office stars during 1937-1938. Josephine the Plumber, from Comet Cleanser TV ads in the 1960s-1970s.

Norman Lloyd, born in 1914, still alive. In Saboteur (1942) & Spellbound (1944).

Yup. Classic facial features. A natural for the camera.

When I saw the headline I instinctively thought of the skater Peggy Fleming. Not to take away from the sad passing of the great Rhonda Fleming, I am happy to see that Peggy Fleming is 72 and looks beautiful.

I’ve enjoyed watching her films and regarded her as a hotty of her day. She was not only good looking, but could act.

I think Nehemiah Persoff is still around. He was the gangster who toasted Spats (George Raft) in the climactic scene of Some Like It Hot.

A. Martinez took over in the 80s.
He seemed to show up everywhere.

So many great character actors during this time. It was truly a golden era for it. We took it for granted how good they were.

“Her co-stars over the years included Kirk Douglas, Glenn Ford, Burt Lancaster, Bob Hope, Rock Hudson and Ronald Reagan...”
Back when male actors were real men.
