I have started carrying 45rds(3 mags)10mm and 14rd for backup mouse gun. A revolver even if 44mag.. you are limited to 6rds before reloading.
With a Glock, if you carry one spare regular mag and a spare extended mag (Glock 18 mag in 9, or one of the Khan Korean mags in .40 or .45), you’re up to around a box of ammo in three mags. Easy to do for car carry.
Any time I see a thread like this I'm amazed at how many people try to argue that a revolver is all you need and that's all they carry. I personally carry a Glock 23 with one in the chamber, plus two spare magazines...40 rounds total. Which will bring on the next big arguement...one in the chamber, or empty chamber.
