Great advice to BuckeyeGOP, scottiemom. Mine went through that phase, but recovered after developing a friendship with a man who had grown up under communism and came to this country because of our freedoms—and who laughed in the face of leftist propaganda. Thank You, Jesus.

Pray without ceasing that your children encounter Godly people and are mentored by them as they move through life. Young adults won’t—and can’t—listen to their parents as they try to stand on their own without the training wheels; but they allow others to influence them in spite of themselves.

When trouble comes, as it does into the lives of everyone eventually, most people who have been raised with sincere belief do return to Him.

Isn’t it just like God to send the perfect messenger to bring a beloved child back into His loving hands? Oh the power of prayer! We are really living an eternal life already. It started the moment we said Jesus is Lord and Savior. Nothing separates us from the love of God. Nothing! Thank you for sharing such an uplifting reminder that God is in control.
