Exactly.
He is probably a bit shaky on his identification of OBL. He doesn’t know for sure whether it was BL he killed. He shot somebody that looked like a picture but that is all he knows. By hastily disposing of the body it is impossible for anyone outside of the medicals on board the ship who examined the body if the identification is correct, if the body was, indeed, examined. Whenever the body of the victim is disposed of so finally and hastily, I suspect strongly that there is chicanery afoot. For some reason it was deemed undesirable that there should be a positive ID of that body by uninvolved examiners.
That’s what I was asking as I read it. Trump never said what O’Neill was saying he said.
I can imagine some fake news idiot told O’Neill that Trump said it and then took O’Neill’s response.
The HONORABLE SEAL should have ATTACKED THE LIARS in the MAIN-SLIME PRESS, as what the “reporters” claim that President Trump said is FALSE & a KNOWING LIE.
(This is just ANOTHER case of ABSURD LYING, like the DEBUNKED/FALSE claim that the POTUS called our deceased combat veterans in a European cemetery, “Suckers & Losers”.)
In my OPINION, the next 3 weeks will see evermore equally ABSURD LIES being told by the “mainstream press”, to try to INJURE our GOOD President with those of us who serve/served in the Armed Forces.
I do NOT know what can be done to ASSURE that the National Press STOPS their promulgation of PREMEDITATED LIES but something must be done about it. - Perhaps network/station broadcasting licenses could be REVOKED, upon “a pattern of deception” being reported as facts/news.
(Revoking a license to broadcast on the public airwaves is NOT denial of FREEDOM OF SPEECH. - No FREEDOM is absolute. = As the saying goes, FREEDOM OF SPEECH does NOT include the right to yell “FIRE” in a crowded theater, when there is NO fire.)
ImVho, the “mainstream press” should be (somehow or other) REQUIRED to separate FACTS from opinions/editorial comment/partisan “talking points”/outright fiction.
ImVho, NOTHING that the “mainstream press” reports, that is more controversial than the latest sports scores, should be believed by “persons of normal IQ” absent PROOF from a neutral source of known veracity. = The so-called “mainstream press” in 2020 is just as likely to LIE as it is to report THE TRUTH.
(TRUTH is NOT subject to “feelings”/wishes/unfounded opinions and/or anything else except the KNOWN FACTS. - TRUTH is the TRUTH.)
