I heard recently the total of Americans who are homosexual is roughly 2%. Another amount has tried something once (not specified, maybe Katy Perry’s song I Kissed a Girl is a clue.)

So why do all of the 98% have to have TV ads, family show plots on TV, special rights to LGBTQ, careful wording to avoid a mistake in the dozens of alleged genders when we talk and all this BS? For 2%?

I think her response was appropriate.

I believe some people are wired differently and it is not a preference for them.

For example I went to grade school (a long time ago) with a person who I knew was different. although I thought of him as a ‘plastic person’ at the time, i guess I was sheltered cause I thought gay meant happy, like the Flintstones having a gay old time.

after high school he came out as being gay to people who knew him, but not making a big deal out of it

I had, and still have no problems with him even though he is a well known political analyst (one of the few that tries to be fair despite who he works for)

I know a few other people like this as well.

I dont think it is a preference on their part
