Students are demanding they stop financing the fossil fuel industry and reinvest those funds into renewable energy sources and sustainable infrastructure through equitable practices. Eleven people including MPS teachers Monica Pallo, Michele Hilbert, and Alex Brower and Rufus King alumni Lauryn Cross were all among those arrested for taking part in non-violent civil disobedience blocking an entrance. All eleven have since been released. Thank you all for fighting for a healthy sustainable planet!"

Lauryn Cross is a member of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization aka Liberation Road, the parent of Black Lives Matter and a partner of the Communist Party spinoff the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism (CCDS), which recently discussed plans for taking over the Democratic Party. Cross was part of a group called the Coalition to March on the DNC, which was planning riots for the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee in coordination with various Marxist groups; the organizing network for this set the stage for the Kenosha and Wauwatosa riots. She also founded the Milwaukee Alliance Against Racial and Political Repression (MAARPR), linked to the Kenosha riots; and she belongs to the Youth Climate Action Team, where she has participated in actions alongside the UW-Parkside (Kenosha) chapter of Students for a Democratic Society, reactivated by the Weathermen faction of the original SDS, i.e. Bill Ayers and company.
Okay, sure. Let’s get rid of all fossil fuels. What have we got to lose? Just switch everything to electric power...
Electricity - 62% percent of US electricity is generated by fossil fuels [2019]
Transportation - Gasoline and other fuels for cars, airplanes, trucks, trains, boats
Heating - Natural gas and heating oil for homes, offices, factories
Cooking - Gas stoves and ovens in homes, restaurants, hotels
Industries which use fossil fuels, such as steel production
Thousands of common or vital everyday products made from oil and natural gas
What are they going to teach them next? How to be good little brown shirts?
Excellent! You might have forced her to share her grade on the test with the kids who didn’t work so hard to score well. Driven the point home with a mallet.

We did homeschool for 13 years. But when our kids were Sophomores, we let them go to a private high school mainly to play sports. They were both swimmers and water polo players.
Both of them had already been tested as “post high school” in every subject on an SAT test (not college entry) so they really just cruised academically. And both passed two AP level tests prior to college.
Both have done very well in life and they are nice people.
We always taught them have a vision, make a plan, make a schedule, execute on the plan, learn from your mistakes and keep going. Oh, and honor your father and mother. ;o)

I lived thru enough cold winters to know that I NEVER wish to depend on solar or wind energy sources to be warm in the winter there.
These teachers should be in prison for brainwashing these children.
