What percentage of people who are out and about at this point are not?

Yeah, but the important thing is to slide people into mass conformity

This is the sentence that caught my eye.

“Actually, it appears that masks are today more like what the Vichy French were to the advancing German forces.”

They say that money is the mother’s milk of politics. After the massive heists of the Treasury over the Obama and Clinton years, Soros has enough money to buy whatever support he cares to. The only thing stopping him is that at some point, no amount of money overcomes very bad/dangerous ideas. But that too can be made up by ballot fraud/manipulation.

Yeah, and 90% of the kids who didn’t do their homework claim they did and it somehow got lost, or the dog ate it, etc.

And 85% of the people in prison claim they are innocent.

And 90% of the people involved in traffic accidents claim they were in the right.

So don’t be surprised if people who get infected now claim they always wore a mask. Duh.

Those that believe in mask will tell you that your mask won’t protect you, it only protects others. So, they will insist that these infections were caused by those not wearing masks. Of course, if that truly was the case, then everyone should wear two masks.

Maybe a few, sure. But 85% liars? No way. And you can't compare people who come down with Covid with people who are convicted of crimes. That comparison exposes a clear bias of opinion that masks indeed DO protect folks and the only way you catch it is to not wear a mask. Where is the research that backs that opinion? The data is indicating something different.

My personal observation with my immediate family is that none of us wear a mask. Only when going in a store that demands it and then the elastic strap breaks and it just hang. Results: 100% of us living here have not caught the virus. We have all worked through the “pandemic” as essential. My daughter that works at a tasting room at a winery has to wear a mask when pouring for guests but that’s it. None of us has had so much as a cold. Mother in law in a New York care facility with all the precautions got it and kicked it’s butt. 94 years old. My daughter in California worked from home and took all precautions all the time got it and was sick for three days. Described it as flu-like aches and pains, fever, no taste or smell. Kicked it’s butt. Moved to Arizona and stopped all the nonsence and is having the time of her life.

There is a Reason doctors and nurses have worn masks for the last 100 years.

There is a reason construction workers wear masks when dealing with sanding, etc.

But feel free to believe that people who have done things for many years for a reason were merely deluded stupid fools. Or, you can reject political ideology as a substitute for common sense.

Indeed. It's there for all to see in the graphs, when masks were mandated and when the virus spikes. Every graph for every state or country had the same spike.

Why some think wearing a mask stops a virus from doing what a virus does isn't is baffling.

Doctors and nurses wear masks to protect the patient from spittle.

Construction workers wear masks to protect themselves from relatively gigantic dust particles.

Neither of these examples have anything to do with virus laden aerosols. Totally irrelevant.

So you refuse to believe that about 40,000 people PER DAY are surprised to learn that they test positive for COVID since they are wearing masks? That doesn’t inform you of anything? What does that say about your delusion?

There is a Reason doctors and nurses have worn masks for the last 100 years.

So they don't infect a patient that's opened up. Protects patients from the mask wearer. Supposed to be one time use and then throw away. That's not what people are doing though. There is a reason construction workers wear masks when dealing with sanding, etc.

Completely different type of mask and is made to keep particles out. Protects the mask wearer. Only allowed for medical use this year because surgical masks ran out.

Bandanas and homemade cloth masks are mostly junk.

You bring up industrial and medical masks which are expensive by the 95 and above and have a specific purpose

When it’s very smoky here I wear an N 95 mask which blocks particles and very small items and still allows me to breathe freely

What’s the mandates for in all of these stupid leftist areas are just for a face covering a face covering does absolutely nothing - for example of a bandanna

So if they really wanted to mandate something they would mandate everybody wears a very expensive particle respirator and that would be it

I go to stores on a regular basis and wore a mask once for all of ten minutes. I went to a Subway once and the only person in the place wearing a mask was the kid making the sandwiches. I live in a county that gets thousands of recreational visitors, mostly from St Louis area, the covid hot spot of the state. They don’t wear a mask when they come down for the weekends and we’ve had no outbreak here. I’ve not gotten covid that I know of and I don’t know of anyone who has.

There are reasons a covid map looks like an election map. A little of it has to do with concentration of people. Some of it has to do with Get Trump. Some of it has to do with $$$$ that fedgov stupidly gives out for every covid case.

I’ve seen some recent videos of how life goes on as normal in Sweden. No masks, no social distancing, lower covid #s than most countries.

I thought the mask was about protecting a person who may not know they have Covid from spreading it around. This article confirms what we already know. I didn’t think any mask protects a person from getting Covid. And, masks have to be considered as one part of an overall multiple barrier approach to help reduce the spread and should not be considered the be all end all as I saw on 60 minutes the other night or from the CDC director.

I think the Rats and others have made to many people think that a mask will protect you when it won’t.

Personally, I support mask wearing in certain enclosed environments but only on a voluntary basis. The people are smart enough to decide on their own. But, I am a minority on this board and have been even called a Nazi for holding such a view.

I was at my local pharmacy picking up some Sudafed and nasal spray because my sinuses were kicking up.

I had my mask below my nose because bad sinuses. Pharmacist from India was lecturing me that I needed to keep the mask over my nose so the virus would not get in. Everyone in the store is required to wear a mask so what virus in the air?

Told him I just wanted to be able to breathe and was not worried about breathing in virus. This is in Washington state where statewide we have averaged four to seven deaths per day for months now.

Will somebody be asking Dr. Fauci about this?

NO!

Because since March he has been asked exactly SIX non-fawning questions.

Five by Rand Paul, and one by Jim Jordan.
