CARY, N.C. — A Cary man said he’s become a target of vandalism because of his political beliefs.
First, his campaign signs were stolen. Then, a vandal spray-painted the words 'Racist' and '**** Trump" on his car.
He said he puts out campaign signs in his yard every election season – but being subjected to vandalism is a first.
"Tuesday morning we had somebody knock on our door at 8 a.m. I was getting ready to go to work," he said.
When he stepped outside, he saw the ugly words spray-painted across both sides of his car and his garage in bright orange letters.
The Cary man, who wants to remain anonymous, shared his photos with WRAL.
The neighbor said he’s become a target because he's a supporter of President Trump.
"Unbelievable. I cannot believe," he said. "I know we’re going through some unprecedented times in political history, but I couldn’t believe somebody would feel so inclined to come in my yard and vandalize my property because of my viewpoint.

Yes, your friends are right. WRAL is very liberal! Not quite as liberal as the local newspaper (The News and Observer) - but close.
WRAL was not always this liberal. The great Jesse Helms used to be employed by WRAL - before he became a US Senator.
But now sadly it is very very liberal and sickeningly so.

But it’s not all relocated Yankees. For instance I am a native NC’er who lives in Cary.......been here for 25 years. Grew up in Raleigh.
But the relocated yankees ARE all over Cary.
Cary is more conservative, however, than Raleigh - so the yankees are not so bad!

Vigilante replacements for defunded police....
I wonder if this will be under the law of unintended consequences: vigilantes get rid of the felons, who then will not be getting appeal after appeal in tens of thousands of dollars per prisoner in jail costs per person. So will save money and death row overcrowding. Only lower level criminals will be on our tab.
People can say to police who stood with folded arms watching Antifa and BLM beat, surround,kick and bludgeon us: “Mind your own business. We will take care of justice.”
As a law enforcement officer said in an interview about mandatory sentencing I heard, “The reason crime has gone down here is there are more criminals held in jail longer and thus fewer are out committing more crimes each.” (Since then, leftists got some of these repealed.)
I live 50 miles North of Austin, Texas in a hyper conservative town called Salado, Texas. Austin is hyper liberal.
You can park a car in Salado with all the damn Biden stickers you want to put on your car. Nothing will happen to your car. Put a bunch of Trump stickers on your car in Liberal Austin and it will be vandalized.
If someone vandalized your property, you don’t believe there would be consequences?

Yes, Austin is like Raleigh and Charlotte in NC - liberal.
But Cary, NC, where this vandalism happened is rather conservative or it used to be at least compared to Raleigh.
I think they will catch the thug.
