It would be for me if a leftist sprayed me because the mace is going to rapidly incapacitate me and then I will be completely defenseless and probably further attacked.

I’ve been sprayed in the face with pepper spray before and It was incapacitating. I put my head in a bucket of water and ran a water hose over my face to minimize the burn. About two hours later, I could function again. You might want to rethink that statement.

In this case, though, it appears to be a defensive use against an assailant armed with a pistol.
