Maxine Waters Republican challenger Joe Collins is made waves on Twitter Saturday after releasing a campaign video shot at Maxine Waters’ $6 million dollar mansion.
In the video, Collins says “Maxine does not live in her district. But I do. I was born right here in South L.A., in a place Maxine refuses to live. Maxine Waters does not drink our water. She does not breathe our air. And while she sits here in her mansion, our district is in ruins.”
“And why doesn’t Maxine Waters want to live in her own district? Because she doesn’t want to suffer the consequences of her own policies,” he adds.
Excellent! He took a page out of Kim Klacik’s book.
The hypocrisy, corruption and utter lack of concern the Democrat Party machine has for Black and Latino inner city residents across the country is finally starting to be attacked head on by Republicans. They have no defense for it. They’ve been sitting in office for decades and even generations while their districts crumbled. Their policies do not work. How much more obvious could it be?
I don’t know if it will be this election or not but I think a lot of Blacks are starting to wake up to the failed policies of Democrats and are starting to see through the constant race hustling.
Sometimes it takes many years for dissenting messages to “take”—but it is always worth the effort.
Agreed—there is only one way to run a political campaign against a Democratic incumbent—scorched earth.
