Cal Cunningham is running against incumbent Thom Tillis in the North Carolina Senate race. Cunningham has been leading in the polls and it looked like he was going to take the seat. His campaign has focused on his military service and his family.
Cunningham is a reserve officer and actually has a Bronze Star. He was not in combat though. He received the star for setting up some courts in Iraz. His mistress’s husband is a sergeant and has served 5 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
There is much talk that this one mistress is not the only one. Cunningham refuses to say if this is the only mistress he has.
Was that an Obama or Kerry kind of award or a legit Bronze Star?
