They obviously waited until his son Christopher was safely dead before corrupting his legacy with their ‘hard edged’ depravity. He protected his father’s legacy from such influences but now he’s gone they think the door is open.

Intimacy coordinator? Is that another term for a fluffer?
I guess the same job with a better sounding title.
While Jesus says “Behold, I stand at the door and knock”
our adversary, Satan, says “Behold, I stand at the door
and pick the lock”.
This is similar to what the Satan led Communist Chinese
are doing to the Bible in China. They are rewriting the
Bible to make changes to the parts they don’t want people
to read or know. Over the years, according to this plan,
people will forget what the real scriptures say.
Is this what is going on with LOTR? Frankly, I’ve never
understood the Christian connections. Those Christian
connections are obvious in CS Lewis stories. Not that
clear in Tolkien, but I defer to those who say they are
there. But I think Amazon is thinking ... LOTR is a
moneymaker... how can we make people want to pay to see
it again.... Hey lets do a mash up between Game of
Thrones and LOTR! They are doing it for greed and money,
but Satan is doing it for evil.
I won’t be watching it. Anybody who respects Tolkien’s work won’t be watching it.
I could clearly tell the very season that Game of Thrones left the books. It was the season they dedicated to portraying religion as creepy and evil.
