My SWAG is that any part of the Russian hoax/coup that Ryan is involved in ultimately springs from allegiance to the lucrative cross-pollination of ChiCom manufacturing and Tom Donahue/USCoC types. Definitely deep statish in the sense of a shadow (and "bipartisan") - government allied with a sort of reverse-mercantilist oligarchy.
Ryan is a real snake with heavy-hitter connections, as I warned people way back when John Boehner left. The Weeper of the House had more humanity about him than the guy who replaced him.
