My only prior exposure to Harris was with the first debate among a stage full of pretenders for the Democratic nomination for president. The one where she got smacked down good by Tulsi Gabbard.

I somehow avoided seeing or hearing this epitome of female prosecutorial overreach in the months following, until last night.

And then, it was just by way of the radio as I had other things to attend to, as luck would have it.

Kamala sounded like she had a mouthful of saliva and needed a spittoon. Her tone of voice—with the exception of her kindergartenish “let’s have a discussion/history lesson interludes—was abrasive in the extreme, as if her jaws were locked in a constant snarl as she spoke.

Such a contrast to our mellow-toned Vice President Pence.

It’s too bad all the undecided voters couldn’t have tuned in last night.
