That’s a beauty! You could throw it in your bag if you would need to back up while traveling! Such as bugging out during the elections...

I remember my first external drive was as big and heavy as a cinderblock patio paver.

You better have a backup of that. SSD failure modes are not soft—it will be like flipping a switch, and you will suddenly have no recoverable data. I don’t use SSDs for backups.
