FACT is that, in today’s modern technical/technological world, and with today’s easy and fast travel means, there is no need to do business in a city or big town.

If Google and Apple and stock traders can work from home and meet virtually, just about everything can be done away from the big cities.

In fact, cities were created a few millennia ago, when travel was difficult and doing business at a distance was difficult and dangerous. Better to be located local and not worry about the elements and long hours of travel.

Only if you need to be next to a family member or friend, would you need to be local.

Cities are a basically, archaic and obsolete, for the most part.

Exactly. Commercial real estate is not going to be in good shape as people and business be practices adapt. I have no reason to drive to an office. Wife doesn’t either. Not everything can be done virtually, but a lot can.
