With all the smart terms you are using it looks more like an intellectual dishonesty not to see the equivalence between Polish and Cuban situation in this case.

It is not an insult to admit that Poland is factually not a contributor to EU. Her input is symbolic and it is a top recipient of EU subsidies making it the biggest basket case of EU to which Germany is a top contributor.

The Polish attempts to hurt Germany in this case has nothing to do with common market. More like an attempt to control the market vital to Germany in the first place in order to gain premium position and under the guise of anti-monopoly efforts no less. It is a 1984 territory.

Common market doesn’t dictate the trading routes and EU is not a single country. Her parts including Germany and Poland are sovereign players. It is not if Germany is picking a product from outside the EU which Poland might deliver at lower price and in higher quality. The opposite is true making a statement of Germany not standing for the common market rather off.

In fact your position is anti-American. Germany was a long-time reliable American ally and among the most pro-American countries in the World.

How do you think siding with deadbeat East European basket cases stealing from Germany affects the US reputation, NS2 situation included?

Do you believe the collective opinion of the German people is unimportant? I am not even asking about the Russians.

What is the American interest and how do you think US has to cope with consequences?

I think the global situation warrant US, Germany and Russia to be allies.

Wow, you’re going off the rails there, with all due respect; Poland like Cuba in what way? The EU and Germany go after Poland for not being as far left socially as they are, FCOL.

If you can convince Germany to revitalize its alliance with the US, that’s fine, but not on Germany’s terms. That country, in case you haven’t noticed, has been convulsing with hatred for Trump for four years and without reason.

Poland is not “factually” a net receiver from the EUSSR. The biggest net recipient over the past two decades is in fact Germany, who for a while was actually able to borrow money at negative interest rates.

Your defense of the EUSSR is wearing thin at this point, as is your defense of collectivism.
