What EU thuggery? Should US transit through Cuba? Doing so would certainly benefit Cubans and not doing so won’t.
What is the difference?
Thuggery and extortion is forcing transit through unwanted locations. If they want transit they should behave nice making it profitable to all sides. That is the essence of trade, not arbitrary kangaroo rulings.
Especially by minor deadbeat players living off subsidies of countries it tries to hurt this way.
