If you enter someone’s property, and they yell at you to leave ... you stay there until they go inside and come back with a rifle?

Census guy wasn't properly trained. We're seeing a lot of that in this operation.

I would think you would leave when they told you to leave.

Protocol is to IMMEDIATELY leave when the property owner asks you to leave.

I usually throw my hands up and acknowledge that the property owner is in the right.

This works well for me.

Seems like the polite and safe way to handle it. Of course, shooting at people when not threatened is pretty crazy.
