It is interesting to me to learn that it was acceptable to estimate the total number of people who were infected.
Q: Why did the CDC only estimate the number of infections? Why dont they have an accurate number of H1N1 infections?
A: Because we dont routinely test for a disease when people are asymptomatic for it.
Yes, this typical way of estimating the number of people infected was CHANGED for CoVid. We have rarely tested people for diseases before they are symptomatic before now.
