NN ^ | 10-05-20 | Jay Greenberg

Posted on 10/05/2020 9:52:17 AM PDT by Steve1999

In a new letter to Roman Catholic leaders, Pope Francis is pushing for communist policies to be adopted on a global scale "for the good of all. "The head of the Catholic Church is advocating for the redistribution of wealth and an end to the public's "natural right" to own private property.

If true, at this point some knights need to rid the Catholic Church of that turbulent priest.

As a patriotic cradle catholic, that’s an easy choice.

That is a false analogy because it is not Catholic doctrine/dogma that is flawed — never has been, never will be — it is the purported head of the Church who is flawed. Purported, because Benedict may still be the actual pope.

I think of all the things that convinces me that we are in the end times, Francis is the main one.

He’s such a shoe in for the False Prophet that I cannot imagine anyone being any worse.

The pope in Rome now may be practicing for his position of the false prophet during the tribulation. This one is just not about trying to win lost souls to Christ.

If I recall correctly, he’s also okay with the abomination known as homosexuality, too. He is an evil man who doesn’t care who he sends to hell.

American Catholics will have to break away from the Vatican

Too many of my fellow Catholics are too doctrinaire. To them it is Holy Mother Church, no matter what, come what may. Making any sort of noise about leaving would make you {gasp...] a Protestant!

My view is that if you take the position that there are NO circumstances that would compel you to leave you become an enabler.

Sort of like when Huey Long got a majority of the Louisiana State Legislature to sign a letter stating they would not vote to impeach him for ANY reason. It gave him carte-blanche to do as he wished.

Perhaps this is why he was attempting to ride the earth of the knights Templar.

Amen. I'm no enabler.

Furthermore, to continue in the catholic church would require me to try to bring people to it - and since interaction with the church organization is required for the catholic sacraments, it would require bringing new people in to interact with known evil.

There's no way I can do this and consider myself faithful to God & Christ. So I left.

when the Pope speaks on economics, or the environment, politics, or government social policy, I’m free to respectfully consider him an @$$hole

That may well be the most reasonable, practical approach...but some of us Catholics look at the institution that harbors and elevates the people who bestowed supreme authority on him.

I've begun to regard the cardinals as barnacles, and the ship is overdue for a scraping.

The problem is that Catholic lay people have virtually no ability to compel reform. You can quit giving them money and you can leave. Those are really the only cards we have to play.

The Church’s greatest strength is that it is not a democracy.
And it’s greatest weakness is that it is not a democracy.

Step #1 of the communist system is to outlaw personal property, taking the riches for “the State.”

Step #2 of the communist system is to outlaw religious institutions, like the Catholic Church and for the government to take over Vatican City, as well as every Catholic church.

Step #3 - Go to Step #1.

In over words, how to outlaw and destroy the Catholic Church.

Mark
