i mean, the president can’t get it again, or spread it, so what’s the point?

They already are taking a lot of precautions, and mostly it is people’s individual choice both whether to attend or not, and what type of protection they want. The venues are purposely keeping the crowds down so there is room for social distancing, and the more people crowd together up front, the more space there is in the back.

If I attended a Trump rally, I’d stand further back, in some free space, with my zombie mask on. But I don’t fault people for doing differently — they are adults, they can take their own very minor risks, like they did coming to the rally.

In fact, I feel like the most dangerous part of a trump rally would be getting to the rally, fearful that a democrat will assassinate me.

I’m in CA so “well trained” ha ha by my tyrannical governor and county health officer and did choose to wear a mask at the Minden NV rally. Most didn’t. What was cool is NO ONE CARED whether I wore a mask or not, and I didn’t care that so few did. It’s about FREEDOM and choice and options. We are all adults.

Seeing a president in person, especially THIS President, I felt was worth the very small risk.

I don’t think I would have gone to an indoor rally, however. I’m a huge believer in the safety of outdoors as far as covid goes. One study of 7000 cases showed only one case could be traced to outdoor transmission. It’s almost impossible to get it outdoors, which is why all these maskless crowded rallies (and the looting and rioting Dem “rallies”) don’t seem to spread covid.

I don’t think it spread in the Rose Garden SC event. It spread at the reception afterward.

Anyone know more about this indoor reception? Who went to that?
