Keep in mind that people with severe COVID-19—primarily those who end up in the hospital—may be infectious for much longer, even as many as 20 days. However, the CDC does point out that the majority of severe COVID-19 patients — over 88 percent — were no longer infectious after 10 days and 95 percent could not infect others by the 20 days mark.So one out of twenty with a severe case of COVID are still infectious after 20 days? That seems like a lot. If you get really sick, it sounds like you should quarantine thirty days and come up with a couple of negative tests.

It’s almost like the tests don’t work.
I had it from middle to late March. Very dry nose, ankle/foot edema, lazy/tired feeling. Another person in the house had classic headache, loss of taste smell, etc. in the same period.
I will fight/vote for laws to prevent general shutdowns in the future.
Many people didn’t even get test results for 3 weeks——

What about the prodromal stage, when a person may be contagious, but but not showing specific Covid19 symptoms?

Just in time for Trump to go back to the White House. I’m surprised that the CDC, who hate Trump, would release this now because of that. It’s quite long over due even now, though. It’s time to broadcast that infected people who don’t show symptoms are at very low risk of transmitting the disease.
Puts a real crimp in those crying how he endangered his Secret Service agents - fever free for 24 hours = safe to be around....maybe they’ll stop imprisoning folks for 14 days who never had a fever and never came close to anyone who had a fever.
