I could see it - mainly due to the fact that California probably isn’t where they’ll focus their fraud efforts...although it may be institutionalized by now.
That said, I know somebody in SoCal, that recently visited Idaho. It was described as ‘culture shock’ - see so much Trump support, it was hard for them to comprehend. They never see such things in Cali.
On a road trip several years ago my wife and I stopped at a McDonald’s in eastern Idaho. All of the staff were non-Mexican whites. While there we saw a group of about six little kids on bicycles arrive and take seats in the restaurant. The oldest appeared to be about nine.
They left their bicycles around the corner, leaning against the building, none of them locked. We marveled at how safe and secure the kids seemed to be.
