Yes, you need a special license to drive a fire truck and, yes, there are female firefighters (Engineers) that drive fire trucks, in the department I was a member of and others.

Thanks for clearing that up! I just assumed this was fake news because that woman doesn’t look like she’s smart enough to drive a bicycle let alone a fire truck!
