Years ago my kids and my husband went down like dominoes with influenza. They were miserably sick and I didnt want to catch it. An acquaintance told me to eat raw garlic as its anti viral. I did-a clove a day and I never caught it despite caring for five sick people in a small house.
When the shut down was looming this year I asked a doctor acquaintance about that. He said it was probably the vitamin C in the garlic. Vitamin C and D are so important in fighting all kinds of illnesses. Perhaps some people just have sufficient levels of C and D and are able to ward off this virus?
My daughter and I were in close proximity to my mother who got covid. We started swimming every single day, and drank a lot of orange juice. We didn’t get covid. Don’t know if that’s what did it, but it couldn’t have hurt. I’m a big believer in sunshine and Vit C.
