Because of the virus and the President. Should the elections be postponed?

Absolutely not.
It matters not who is in the gov/candidacies, it only matters to have stability and reliability.
If a president/incumbent dies the day prior to the election, so be it. That is not more important than the security and stability of the republic, including how institutions are handled.
BTW, that includes the absurdity of “early” voting, mail-in ballots, and of course “late” voting as is pushed by many. All these should be declared unconstitutional.

Schumer thinks so. That's about all I need to know that moving the election is a bad idea, not to mention illegal.

How about this?
Article II Section I
...”The Congress may determine the time of choosing the Electors, and the day on which they shall give their votes; which day shall be the same throughout the United States.”....

Move the vote for Barrett to Saturday-—tomorrow.

..The Congress may determine the time of choosing the Electors, and the day on which they shall give their votes; which day shall be the same throughout the United States....The day the electoral college votes must be the same throughout the U.S. The day the electors are voted for is up to each state's legislature unless Congress says otherwise.

The point is it states one day.
I assume you are all for this early-vote junk? Why did this never happen for 200 years, then, if its OK?
How long do we allow people to vote, such that they may be dead at the due date (this really applies to mail-it-in, too)? Does it make sense to allow someone to vote in September who is dead at the time of closing?
