The bone is very thin at the back of the nose. The people doing the tests should have been told this.

The woman has a very rare and previously undiagnosed medical condition where the bones of the skull doesn’t connect properly. In effect, she has holes in her skull. The nasal swab found one. She’s already recovered from the problem.
