Oscar de la Torre, an activist and organizer who has led efforts to protect backstretch workers at Southern California racetracks, recently authored an opinion piece in the Spanish language newspaper La Opinión in which he said animal rights extremists have subjected Hispanic workers to openly hostile racism while protesting against horse racing at Santa Anita and Del Mar.
“Based on my experience over the last several years helping to organize largely immigrant Latinx workers in the horse racing community in California,” de la Torre wrote in an English language version of the article sent to the Paulick Report, “it is time for the animal advocacy extremists who oppose the sport to take a long look in the mirror and ask themselves some hard questions, too.
“At one demonstration,” he wrote, “a PETA supporter called us 'uneducated monkeys' and another told our workers to 'go back to their taco truck.' One white animal advocate inferred that a Latina woman on our side 'looked like a prostitute' and on that same day the San Diego County Sheriffs arrested a PETA activist for pushing and injuring a horse racing supporter.

“Uneducated monkeys”? You would think that PETA supporters would not use an animal as an insult.
Decent people of all races eventually come to understand just how vile people on the Left actually are.
Meanwhile we dare not suggest that a progressive wanting the government to pay for her birth control might be a slut.

All of the “activists” are not wound too tight. They appear to be under the influence of some drug. They are not adverse to committing acts of violence. When making close contact with one of them, it is a wise Latina who will have a pistol or knife on their person. It will save many stays in the hospital and prevent many trips to the emergency room.

Heh, I love the fact that conservative women are tough chicks (yup, I’m gonna sound sexist) while the ‘tard “women” are - well - Helen Thomas look alikes.
I think Mr de la Torre fundamentally misunderstands PETA. They aren’t being racist against Hispanics (are Hispanics a ‘race’?), they are racist against the human race. They are against all interactions between humans and animals and if they could have their way, humans would be extinct.
White cats will be eliminated
Black cats will be considered lucky
All dogs MUST be multicolored with no preference to any color other than Black.
Cats will be ORDERED to pull sleds (I always conjure up a picture of ‘herding cats’ when it comes to a cat pulling a ‘dog’ sled, all in a different direction.)
The old ‘View never changes unless you’re the lead dog’ will no longer be fashionable.
PETA will always remain my ‘favorite’
