We still don't know why some countries are having relatively more success against coronavirus. But can we start to rule out some variables as "not the biggest ones"?

One of the main ways for having very different death rates in different countries is the way that deaths are counted: with coronavirus, from coronavirus, maybe the person had coronavirus when they died on the streets. The incentive to count as a coronavirus death by getting extra money in a hospital is pretty strong too. I dont know any other country thats doing that.
