It’s a great idea to have a rally instead of the second debate. I remember when Trump refused to participate in one of the primary debates and instead had a rally/fundraiser for several military helping organizations. Of course he got attacked mercilessly about the money not getting to the various military organizations immediately.
I forgot about that.
I’d forgotten about that, and if I remember right Mike Huckabee and one of the other presidential candidates left the debate early to join Trump. Didn’t seem to hurt Trump one bit!
