My library does not touch or check books in until four days after they have been dropped off. Four days is probably an abundance of caution for coronavirus living on a surface

When I worked about children that were always coming in with lice, we were told to put the clothes in a bag for two weeks to be sure. One couldn't always wash their good clothes in hot water. I don't miss those days. I had a crying child on my shoulder all morning and we noticed she had lice. I didn't get the lice thankfully. But we always plastered our hair every morning with hair spray.

Thanks for the information about the orchard County does but the books. I wonder why that’s not something that’s talked about more, it’s lifespan on a surface.
