Congress writes the laws to protect themselves and to keep the money flowing. This is one of the main reasons that the entire swamp is protecting itself and will do anything to defeat Trump.

I don't know any FBI people, and I don't want to disparage your friends, but from what I have been seeing for the last 4 years, the organization, as a whole, is corrupt. And the corruption is not just on the 7th floor or the top 1%, but seems to run throughout the whole department. There are quite lot more than just a few bad apples.
I know two friends who are FBI but low men but if they move up..will they be part of the evil too?
Maybe they won't move up through the ranks unless they ARE corrupt. Maybe the corrupt ones, or the ones who go along with the system, are the ones who get moved up.
