With that said, Subway’s bread is, at least in terms of taste & texture, a pretty poor excuse for bread.

But on the bright side, they don't put much in there, other than shredded lettuce. If you doubled it, it would still be less than other sub shops. Of course, you can go to a Jewish Deli and a sandwich is good for at least 2 meals. Maybe 3. You just need a few extra slices of bread.
