I’ve never owned a Chinese brand computer ...
I now own a Dell Inspiron desktop , and an HP Touchsmart which is the one that is dying . Dell all-in-one with similar specs about $ 200 more in Japan than the Lenovo .
Edit: I used to find that pricewatch.com had a good selection of custom PC builders, but that seems to have been torpedoes. And the New Egg one that I mentioned does not work right with my fav. browser, but here is a build i quickly put together as an example at microcenter, using the AMD - Ryzen 5 3400G Picasso 3.7GHz Quad-Core AM4 Boxed Processor with Wraith Spire Cooler at 129.) The G means means you do not need a graphic$ card. Plus MSI B450-A Pro Max AMD AM4 ATX Motherboard, Crucial Ballistix Gaming 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 PC4-25600 CL16 Dual Channel Desktop Memory, PowerSpec - 430 Watt 80 Plus ATX Non-Modular Power Supply, and two Inland 256GB 3D TLC NAND SATA 3.0 6.0 GB/s 2.5" Internal SSD's.

Good point. Get a Lenovo or Dell or HP tiny form factor PC (like 6x6x2), and they typically come with a mounting bracket so you can attach them to the VESA mount on the back of the monitor, and you get the same effect without that risk of the AIO.
Precisely
Hotswap isn’t new. It’s a waste, IMO, to put a spinning disk into a machine with an SSD. Most spinning disks I’ve seen recently are 5400 RPM, which is on the low end. If you have to have spinning disk, get at least 7200. 10K is preferred but often priced higher.
I run a security camera server on desktop — appreciate the absolute silence of the SSD, especially at night. And boots up and updates way faster.
Depends on what your needs are. If you want the computer to be fast at accessing everything and/or it is likely to get jostled, go with the SSD. If it is a desktop system and you need lots of space to store stuff like pictures and video clips, go with the hybrid.
The relative advantages for the SSD is speed, energy usage, and robustness against jolts. The relative advantages of HDD is cost per GB of storage.
SSD drive for sure plus do not get a 5400rpm for a regular hard drive. Get a 7200 rpm. Much faster.
I have a Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB for my “C” drive with windows 7 on it and 2 regular hard drives for my backup.
