Doesn’t Valtrex eventually work on internal shingles too?
Not for me. The pain is due to healing of prior nerve damage, not an ongoing infection that can be combatted by an antiviral.
Valtrex worked for me. 44 YO male. Had it twice last 10 yrs, last time 3 yrs ago. Around my torso both times. Valtrex knocked it out cold.
