I am a cat person and a dog person, love them both. I had a two thousand dollar stray cat that adopted us in England.
I was then posted to Oman and took the cat. I was then posted back to England and due to quarantine restrictions could not take the cat back to England least she be in quarantine for months in a cage near Heathrow Airport. Thus cat and wife (I should have kept the cat and not the wife and put her in quarantine for months but most unfortunately England has laws against that) flew back to Cottonport, Louisiana and said cat lived happily until old age on a farm. It was a well traveled cat. The two thousand bucks were worth it. Inflation adjusted dollars that was really a 4 thousand dollar stray cat.
She gave us pleasure. We just rubbed her and she showed affection. She slept on the end of our bed by our feet. She was a good cat.
