This explained to me by Paul Schenck (now Father Paul Schenck).
He was arrested for offering a Bible to a woman at an abortion clinic. The case went all the way to the US Supreme Court.
Paul Schenck won the decision 8-1. The lone dissenter was Associate Justice Stephen G. Breyer.
Before I post the link to the Oral Arguments, Paul Schenck at one time was lost in Washington, DC.
He looked over into the car next to him to ask for help.
He realized the driver was Associate Justice Stephen G. Breyer. He decided not to ask him for help.
Link to the Oral Arguments for this case at the US Supreme Court:
He was raised as an Orthodox Jew.
Then he became an Evangelical Christian.
He converted to the Catholic faith, and then he was allowed to become a Catholic priest even though he was married.
However, I see that he is no longer a Catholic priest (?)
