Daniel Boone is my 7th Great Uncle. I descend through his sister, Sarah. Thanks to COVID, the Boone Society’s reunion was cancelled this year. Thank you for posting this thread!

I was born in Kentucky, raised in Missouri, listened to stories of Boone and Crockett. Read a lot stories about those guys and their kind. Hunted, trapped, fished, and played hell in the Missouri mud. I’m an old man and have no regrets. America is a blessing on all who call her home. IMHO

My great-great-great, etc. uncle Benjamin Hinkle was Boone's brother-in-law and lived near him on the Forks of the Yadkin in the 1750s. He was married to Susannah Bryan, a sister of Boone's wife Rebecca.
