Lately, in researching Q drops and following current events, I see the police being beaten and in one particularly brutal instance, hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat. Right now, one the Q thread, qualified immunity is not the top of my concern.

Please clarify that you in no way are implying you thinkI am ok with cops being beaten or defunded, because if this isn’t your issue, that’s kind of how it’s worded. In the past, there have been some vociferous posters here, who have called me a cop hater because I want police reform. They have responded the same to others bringing up similar thoughts. This tactic should be discouraged. My guess is they have been contacting you. But, like so much on the q thread, just a theory.
I have been responding to posts, all of them, at least to me, seem cordial enough. One poster sent a PM telling me how he/she was greatly involved in working with her mayor/pastor to ensure this does not happen in their community. Another, had commented they liked the idea of QI reform.
One more thing. Who is controlling and paying for the riots that are killing cops? derps

Two years ago, if someone would have posted a video of Christians being arrested for no reason in the United States of America, FR would be lit up!
The idea, that in order to stand with police who are being brutalized, we can’t stand against Christians being arrested, well lets just say, the derp plan worked. They have managed to keep us quiet while they go about transforming this country.

Me: Your Q thread posts seemed to display your increasing frustration with thread participants. I hoped to clarify my position - not that I don’t care, but that it’s not my priority right now. Others may or may not feel the same way I do.

me: I perceived your frustration with those of us not posting the way you wanted on the thread and hoped to clarify. It’s not that people like me are indifferent, but some of us are focusing on something else right now.
I would say that your priorities and mine are slightly out of synch. Right now with the violence, I think police reform efforts could be distorted by outsiders to portray a lack of faith/trust in police. I believe that, right at the moment, the police need to know that the public a) supports the rule of law and b)supports honest policing.

me: I did not intend for my remarks to offend or insult. I believed I was clarifying what seemed like indifference to you is more a matter of timing (and limited time) for me. I’m pleased, as always, that like minded FReepers/FReeQs have reached out to you.

Me: and yet your post seemed to consist of generalizations about cops, not those officials who authorize, condone or actively direct the misdeeds of “bad cops”.
I’m talking about perception here when I say your use of cops is generalized - I think it’s often necessary, though tedious, to take the time to tease out who we mean (not all cops) etc. even though you may have assumed I knew that - what do our readers “know”?

Me: I can stand against Christians being arrested without failing to stand with cops being brutalized, but I may not do it the way you want me to (endorse on the Q thread a priority need for police reform). I think locations where cops arrest Christians needlessly are deep state zones which need purging, not an indication that “cops are outta control”. If cop arrests violated department policy, they would be stopped by those in authority. See the needless arrest and know the DA and the Chief of police need to be replaced along with those who endorse and serve them.
