etymology of coney - “long-eared rabbit!”
coney (n.)
also cony, “rabbit,” c. 1200, abstracted from Anglo-French conis, Old French coniz, plurals of conil “long-eared rabbit” (Lepus cunicula) from Latin cuniculus (source of Spanish conejo, Portuguese coelho, Italian coniglio), the small, Spanish variant of the Italian hare (Latin lepus). The word perhaps is from Iberian Celtic (classical writers say it is Hispanic).

‘Long eared Rabbit’....
ROFLMAO...can you just imagine what you would feel like if you would feel like arriving in CA. in the morning to do ‘your government business’ and on a plane back to your secured office where you have everything very important to the downfall of President Trump only to find your ‘office’ is not your office anymore, and your important papers you thought you had, they are gone—somewhere—
Oh what a ‘pit in your stomach’ feeling that would be and it should happen to every one of those traitor, sedition, two faced, stab you in the back POS that has and is working for our government...
And as Our President is re elected to know your are swinging by a rope in Town Square...
Couldn’t happen to nicer people!!!
