[I have a friend who is originally from a town across the border from where I grew up. We went to the same elementary school and have stayed close. He went to school to learn to be a chef and he moved to NYC where he worked in a nice restaurant. The owner was always very good to him. He got married and has five daughters.

He called me yesterday and asked if there was some way I could help him come to Arizona with his family. The restaurant has been closed and the owner came to see him two days ago and told him he will never be able to reopen the restaurant and has lost everything but the money in his pockets. He was crying and gave my buddy three hundred dollars.

Alejandro told me that it is very unsafe where they live. Gangs come to people’s apartments and break down the doors to rob them. The police do not respond. The kids cannot go to school. His rent is over 2,000 per month and he can no longer pay it.

Five years ago my friend became a U.S. citizen. He voted for Hillary Clinton. He married a Puerto Rican girl in New York who has always been a democrat.

Both of them are furious and my buddy believes that NYC is now worse than Cananea where the drug lords took control and made him leave for the US.

My buddy and his wife are going to be voting for Trump. Her parents are going to be voting for Trump.]
