Thankfully, I never got to experience burn pits, but plenty of friends did in Iraq, Afghanistan, and earlier in Honduras in the mid-1980’s.

Thanks for the ping, Brother! Like you I never had to deal with the burn pits in 'Nam, but have friends from recent conflicts who did have to contend with them.
